IAPRI News Deadline to Submit General Stream Research Abstract is Extended. 01/24/2021 The deadline for the30th IAPRI Member Conference in 2021 for submitting your abstract for review by the Scientific Committee is being extended two weeks until February 15th. All that is required is the title and abstract and the contact information of the authors. Ed Church, IAPRI Secretary General recovering from open heart surgery Jay Singh, IAPRI President Ed found out in mid December of 2020 that he needed to have bypass surgery. So on January 5th he had a triple bypass replacing three blocked arteries. I am are very happy to report that his recovery is going very well and he actually is ahead of normal recovery timing. He is back to work on a very part time basis and hopes to be back 100% in another week or two. Once he get his Covid vaccine shots completed he is going to Arizona for a few months to help with his recovery that takes full six months to you are back to normal. Conference Spotlight Peer Reviewed Paper Submission Deadline has passed, BUT 01/04/2021 We have a number of peer reviewed papers submitted and the extended deadline of January 15th has come and gone. But, it never hurts to check with IAPRI to see if you can get your paper submitted. No guarantees. Research News Consumer views, food waste and packaging at RMIT 01/29/2021 A team from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, has published a paper calling for more research on consumer perceptions of packaging and the part it plays in helping to reduce food waste.
