IAPRI Membership Adopts Updated By-Laws

The revised By-Laws replace the previous version and will guide the Association’s governance going forward, including membership categories and voting, Board structure and responsibilities, meeting requirements, elections, and other foundational provisions.

Key Updates
The newly adopted By-Laws introduce several important improvements:
  • A more durable and future‑focused Purpose statement
  • Addition of an Alternate Delegate Representative for each member organization
  • Clearer expectations for Board meeting cadence and notice
  • Holding the Annual Membership Meeting during the annual conference
  • Inclusion of a Conflict of Interest statement for Board members
  • Updated Secretary General role description
  • A major revision to Section 8 (Amendments) requiring advance notice to members before Board votes
