Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 25th IAPRI World Conference on Packaging, one of the world’s leading forums for packaging research, education, and logistics. This event brings together researchers, educators, and industry professionals from across the globe to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, and shape the future of packaging.
We welcome submissions of high-quality, original research and development contributions across the conference tracks. This is a unique opportunity to share your work with international peers, engage in stimulating discussions, and strengthen global collaborations in packaging science and technology.
Abstracts are submitted online starting 15 October for peer review and 15 November for general stream papers and posters via the IAPRI Proposal Submission Portal for all formats of presentations.

Earlier Submission Deadlines
For 2026, submission deadlines have been scheduled earlier than in past conferences. This adjustment allows the Scientific Committee to complete reviews more efficiently, ensures timely acceptance notifications, and provides additional time for peer-reviewed authors to refine their manuscripts.
Accepted submissions will be designated as:
- Peer-reviewed paper
- General stream presentation
- Poster presentation

Publication of Accepted Papers
- All general stream papers will appear in the official conference proceedings.
- Peer reviewed papers accepted by Packaging Technology and Sciences will be published in PTS
- The Scientific Committee may invite authors of outstanding general stream submissions to submit their work to the peer-review track.

Peer-Review Track (Packaging Technology and Science Journal)
In collaboration with Packaging Technology and Science (PTS), peer-review submissions follow a two-step process:
- Abstract submission (300–500 words): Submit via the online system and indicate that your work is intended for the peer-review track by 15 November 2025
- Full manuscript submission: Upon acceptance, submit your paper according to the PTS Instructions for Authors by 15 January 2026.
