The Institute of Food Technology (Ital) opens registrations for the selection of candidates for a Young Researcher (JP) Scholarship in the area of Investigation of metallic materials for packaging. The JP is expected to develop a research project to expand the Institute's activities in the area of Product and Process Innovation, focusing on the composition and microstructure of aluminum sheets for the production of two-piece cans built-in and stretched - DWI, aiming at the establishment of competence and infrastructure for the study of metallography, chemical composition and corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys used in the production of cans for beverage packaging.

The JP scholarship will last 48 months and will be financed by FAPESP and linked to the Ital Institutional Research Development Plan (PDIP - process nº 2017 / 50349-0). The selected candidate will receive a Young Researcher Fellowship from FAPESP in the amount of R $ 8,377.50 per month and exempt from income tax.
