Alliance to End Plastic Waste seeking research proposals

Alliance To End Plastic Waste

Only 15% of plastic waste is recycled, leaving the large majority in landfills or possibly leaking into our environment.

One way we can close the loop and unlock the value of plastic waste is through chemical recycling technologies, such as gasification, pyrolysis, solvolysis and depolymerization.

The Alliance is requesting project proposals built around these new technologies and business models that convert hard-to-recycle plastic waste to produce plastics or feedstock for new materials and products.

Chosen submissions will be accelerated and deployed to facilitate the recovery of the environmental and economic value of plastic waste.

Submission closes on 30 April 2021. For more details, please visit https://lnkd.in/gesNTtG (Note: For the best experience, please open the link in a different browser to download the RFP files)
