Clemson plans for food packaging summit early next year

The Summit will be held on 25-26 February 2021 on the Clemson campus in South Carolina, with the theme of: ‘Safe. Secure. Sustainable’. Opening remarks will come from Kyle Tanger and Josh Mellinger, both of Deloitte Consulting. There will be individual and panel presentations, as well as roundtable discussions.
 
“We are looking at a very different world than any of us could have imagined just a few short months ago,” executive director of Sonoco FRESH Anne Barr said in a statement. “With health and wellness as our top priorities, food safety and sustainability are more crucial than ever.”
 
However, like others, Clemson continues to keep all bases covered by maintaining its online engagement, too. It is offering ‘sneak peek’ webinars in September, ahead of the Summit, and Clemson’s Sonoco Institute is also hosting a virtual Sustainable Packaging Design Workshop, 23-24 September 2020.
